Join us for an exclusive presentation by Olympic Track Cyclist for Team Canada – CARSON MATTERN!
Carson will be joining us virtually from his training base in Europe to give us a day-by-day recap of his experience at the Paris Olympics, with personal photos and video. The presentation will be followed up by a live Q&A to learn more about Carson’s current training regime and the upcoming racing season.
Summit Station is proud to financially support Carson and his fundraising efforts. All ticket sales from this event will be donated to CANFUND – an organization that financially supports our Canadian athletes.

Something you might be surprised to learn is that most Canadian athletes have to pay thousands of dollars out of their own pockets in order to compete in their own sport, even at the Olympic level. This is in addition to general living expenses, such as housing, transportation and other expenses not covered by our national sport’s associations. I mean, just try to imagine what a 5000 calorie-a-day diet looks like on a grocery bill…
Since training to represent Canada at the Olympics is already a full time job, the CANFund provides a lifeline for us. The non-for-profit organization was able to give money to over 80% of all Canadian athletes competing at the Paris Olympic and Paralympic games.
CANFund is 100% reliant on support from donors and with the 2025 sports season quickly approaching, I want to pay it forward by giving back to the organization which gave to me and so many others. 100% of the proceeds will go toward this charity.
