MAY THE FOURTH BE WITH YOU
Join us on a tour of the farm! One of our farmers (For this week, likely Ben in his Darth Vader helmet) will walk you through the barns to see the cows and explain how we care for our herd. You’ll have a chance to get up close and personal with our baby calves, and we’ll bring you into the parlour to see the milking in action. Throughout the tour try and spot our mascot, the real-life ‘Valentina the Heart Cow’!
This is a walking tour lasting about 75 minutes.
Please dress for the weather (cold, wet, etc.) as most of the tour is outside. You will be provided boot/shoe covers that must be worn throughout the tour. Star Wars costumes are encouraged today!
The tour is suitable for strollers, walkers and wheelchairs, but please be aware there are uneven surfaces. While we love our pets, the cows sometimes get nervous around them – so unfortunately dogs are not allowed.
Summitholm is an active working farm. For your safety, as well as the safety of our staff and animals, visitors are not allowed to wander the barns unaccompanied. Signing up for one of our guided tours is the best way to see the cows and learn about modern dairy farming.
Children under 2 are free.
