Calling all Star Wars/Milk Fans!

Farmer Ben (Kenobi) will walk you through the barns to see the cows and explain how we care for our herd. You’ll have a chance to get up close and personal with our baby calves, and we’ll bring you into the parlour to see the milking in action. Throughout the tour try and spot our mascot, the real-life ‘Valentina the Heart Cow’!

This is a walking tour lasting about 75 minutes.

Please dress for the weather (cold, wet, etc.) as most of the tour is outside. You will be provided boot/shoe covers that must be worn throughout the tour. Star Wars costumes are encouraged today!

The tour is suitable for strollers, walkers and wheelchairs, but please be aware there are uneven surfaces. While we love our pets, the cows sometimes get nervous around them – so unfortunately dogs are not allowed. We will make exceptions for Wookiees – their kind are served here.

Summitholm is an active working farm. For your safety, as well as the safety of our staff and animals, visitors are not allowed to wander the barns unaccompanied. Signing up for one of our guided tours is the best way to see the cows and learn about modern dairy farming.

Children under 2 are free.

ALLEZ! ALLEZ! ALLEZ! The Annual Paris to Ancaster Bike Road Race happens today!

If you’re coming out for milk and curds, don’t forget to bring your folding chair and a cowbell because Summit Station is a great spot to catch a glimpse of the muddy riders coming over from the Rail Trail and making their way along Hwy 52.

PLEASE NOTE: Traffic around the Hwy 52/Powerline Road West intersection will be paused sporadically through the day by the P2A Race organizers — they do a great job of keeping the traffic moving while keeping the riders safe. Thank you for your patience as you make your way to the store.
