On Saturday December 27 from 12PM to 4PM – we welcome you to come visit the cows at our 15th Annual Dairy Farm Open House!

The Wentworth County Dairy Farmers and their families will be at the Loewith Farm to show you what modern agriculture is all about. Grab a sample of poutine made with Summit Station curds, or hot chocolate with whipped cream!

This is a free event — however donations of non-perishable food items for Hamilton Food Share are highly encouraged and much appreciated.

** Please note that the Summit Station on-farm store will be open during the event, but opening and closing times may vary from our regularly posted hours.**

Taught by the confectionery experts from Hamilton’s CHOCOLATE TALES, each participant will learn piping techniques with royal icing and get to decorate 3 sugar cookies.

This entertaining, hands-on experience is perfect for all ages and skill levels.

Join Westfield Heritage Village for a tasty, immersive, and hands on experience at Dairy Delicious on Sunday, August 3 and Monday, August 4 from 10 AM to 4 PM.

At this new and unique event, visitors can explore the history, science, and technology of the many delicious dairy products made in Ontario from the mid-1800s to the early 1900s. At the heart of this Dairy Delicious event will be interactive, dairy-themed activities and experiences, including exhibits, games and hands-on activities.

Westfield is thrilled to partner with Summit Station Dairy, a multigenerational dairy farm with a proud history rooted in the Hamilton community.  Farmer Ben will be doing milking demonstrations throughout the day. Stop by the General Store to buy an ice-cold bottle of Summit Station milk to enjoy!

Visitors can look forward to historical cooking and baking demonstrations using dairy products, a milking demonstration, take part in butter churning, ice cream making, and more! Dairy equipment, old and new, will show the processes and science of dairy production. Q&A sessions will take place throughout the day to provide insight into dairy farming. The event will also feature a lively midway of unique Edwardian carnival games, including some fun dairy-themed games, and a family craft.

The Copetown Lions Food Truck will be on-site with yummy treats for purchase, including fries, hamburgers, and hot dogs.

Our summer pavilion series continues with KARAOKE NIGHT — Come sing your heart out with DJ Cody from Seneca Soundz!

Food Truck Bob’s Dawgs Mobile Kitchen returns with some of the best poutine in the city (made with Summit Station curds…of course).

As an added feature, young artist Kirpa Manku will not only be displaying some of her original textured-acrylics on canvas artwork, she’ll be creating a brand new piece live under our pavilion.

Evening goes rain or shine, hot or cold, windy or calm!

It’s recommended that you bring your own lawn chair, just in case we get busy.

Stop in at the Station on Saturday September 27 from 10AM – 3PM as we celebrate one of the best collaborations in history: Milk & Cookies!

Joining us for the 2nd annual festival will be David Levy and his team from Hamilton’s own CHOCOLATE TALES. On the pavilion, explore the custom cookie creations made by some of #HamOnt’s best bakers! Each of the ten vendors have created a SIGNATURE COOKIE for the festival.

There will be music and face painting in the pavilion from 1-3pm, plus our main barn will be open during the Festival for FREE so you can visit the cows.
